Sarah, thanks for peeping at my blog! Ohhh....if I had the wifely riches I was discussing, I'd buy every single one of your paintings! (and I'm normally quite fussy, artistically and aesthetically...) They seem to strike a cord. Love them. Conjure up an emotion, every one on your site...

ARRGGHHH! I want your 'wave portrait' and your 'March Storm'!!!!! Ohhhh yes. I covet them greatly. They inspire emotion and inspiration.

Two years ago... I could have just bought them outright. Now, well! I'll just have to save up and hope to get in there first!!!

So glad to have discovered you. You are truly talented (I was talented too, when younger, at all types of drawing and painting, but haven't got the steady PATIENCE to paint, preferring the immediate creation photography enables. But then, you don't get all those layers of effort which give a painting its magic!). Sorry about so many comments here but not sure how else to feedback!

P.S. just in case you didn't check back on my blog, re. one of your comments: Sarah, I don't think you need to address any issues in paint. Your paintings represent and communiate pure FREEDOM. In itself, that's an absence of issues (and as such, priceless in today's world) - keep it up!

As usual Sarah the new painting is outstanding. I agree with helen that your paintings represent freedom, a liberation from life, the sea is a place I always go to to cast out my worries and ground myself, it really shows in your work. But then you know how much I love your paintings!!! Keep at it hun!Mxx
